Paul Pierce paced his team's effort with 31 points but the Celtics fell to the New York Knicks 100-88 in Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
In an entertaining game from start to finish, the Celtics fell behind by double digits before mounting a comeback in the fourth quarter.
The Celtics visit the Bobcats in Charlotte on Tuesday night.

Kendrick Perkins shows off the Larry O'Brien trophy at the annual Champions for Children's fundraiser on Tuesday, December 2 at the Seaport World Trade Center.
Champions for Children's is an annual dinner and auction that raises funds for Children's Hospital Boston's patient care, research and community health programs. Hosted by ESPN's Chris Berman and WEEI's Glenn Ordway, Champions for Children's is Boston's only charity event supported by all five professional sports teams.
Rebecca and the ladies recently volunteered at the Christmas in the City event at the Bayside Expo Center. She takes us behind the scenes to tell us about the a fantastic fundraiser.
