Coach Coffino’s camps are open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15. Participants work on fundamental basketball skills while learning the importance of good-sportsmanship, teamwork and the educational value that sports provide in our local schools. Campers also receive a 10-pack of tickets to the Thunderbirds’ games of their choice, t-shirts and the opportunity to meet the team during the 2008-2009 season.

When asked about his expectations for this summer’s camps Coach Coffino said, “I look forward to teaching and inspiring the children of Albuquerque through the fun and excitement these camps produce. This experience is all about the kids, and giving them the tools they need to succeed in school and in life.”

The “Coffino Camps” began July 21 and will remain open for registration through August 15.
