NBA Development League: Outlook, iCal and Google Calendar Downloadable Schedules

DOWNLOAD THE 2011-2012 IOWA ENERGY SCHEDULE

Fans, if you use Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal or Google Calendar, you can download and install the 2011-12 Iowa Energy schedule (home and away games) into your calendar! It's easy. Just follow the simple instructions below for each application.

OUTLOOK
To download the file, named "calendar.csv" just right click here and choose the SAVE TARGET AS option. After downloading the file, open Outlook and follow these directions for importing it into your calendar:

Select the File / Import and Export... Menu option.

Select "Import from another program or file" and click Next.

Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click Next.

Find the desired CSV file (calendar.csv) and select "Do not import duplicate items" and click Next.

Select Calendar and click Next.

The next window will have a title that says 'The following actions will be performed:' above an option to 'Import "calendar.csv" into folder: Calendar.'

Check that box and and click on 'Import "calendar.csv" into folder: Calendar'

From there, click and drag needed fields from the left window into the right window. The basic corresponding fields are below:

SUBJECT to Subject
START DATE to Start Date
START TIME to Start Time
END DATE to End Date
END TIME to End Time
REMINDER DATE to Reminder Date
REMINDER TIME to Reminder Time
DESCRIPTION to Description
LOCATION to Location

And if you'd like Outlook to place a reminder: REMINDER_ON_OFF to Reminder On/Off

Click OK

Then click finish

iCAL
1. Choose Calendar > Subscribe in iCal.
2. Copy and paste http://data.nba.com/data/10s/xml/dleague/2011/media/energy/schedule.ics in the Subscribe to field.
3. Click OK, and there you have it!

GOOGLE CALENDAR
1. At the bottom of the calendar list on the left, click the Add down-arrow button and select Add by URL.
2. Copy and paste http://data.nba.com/data/10s/xml/dleague/2011/media/energy/schedule.ics in the Public Calendar Address field.
3. Click Add.
