RENO, NV— Despite a franchise-record 35-point performance by Reno’s Desmon Farmer, the Los Angeles D-Fenders rallied in the second overtime period to knock-off the Bighorns, 117-111, Saturday night in the Reno Events Center.

The Bighorns (1-3) charged back in the second-half and erased an eight-point halftime deficit to force overtime. In the first extra period, Reno had the final possession, yet failed to convert, forcing a second extra period. In double overtime, the D-Fenders (3-2) outscored the Bighorns 8-2 to roll to the victory.

Michael Fey scored 20 points off the bench for Los Angeles, leading six D-Fenders in double figures. Deron Washington chipped in 18, and Diamon Simpson recorded a double-double with 17 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

Farmer’s 35-point effort marked the highest individual single-game scoring performance in Bighorns history. Rod Benson and Marcus Hubbard each pulled down 10 boards, while Doug Thomas netted 15 points off the bench for Reno.
